Adult Formation
Order of Christian Initiation for Adults (OCIA) is more than a program, is a process in which one who, after hearing about the mystery of Christ proclaimed, freely chooses to follow him by entering a life of faith in the Catholic Church. It is a journey that involves intellectual learning, spiritual growth and conversion. If you are not Catholic but want to know more about the Catholic Faith, if you have not received the Sacraments of Baptism, Eucharist, Reconciliation and Confirmation, or if you have been away from the Church for a long time and want to come back… come and see. Adult Confirmation
Adult Confirmation is for baptized Christians who want to become Catholic or baptized Catholics who never received Confirmation. If you were validly baptized in another Christian community, you do not need to be baptized again. Instead, you will learn the Catholic faith and prepare to be received into the Catholic Church. Baptized Catholics who missed Confirmation will also prepare to complete their Sacraments. The program teaches Catholic beliefs, prayer, and how to live as a committed disciple of Jesus. Participants are received into full communion with the Church and receive Confirmation (and First Communion if needed).
